Nick Foles, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

With Carson Wentz still out of commission for the Philadelphia Eagles, Nick Foles gets another starting assignment in Week 2, this one a bit easier than the season opener against the Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles travel to Florida to face a super-soft Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense on Sunday that has had their fair share of trouble slowing down offenses.

In 2017, the Bucs could not hold anyone down, finishing dead last in the NFL in passing yards allowed. Opposing quarterbacks completed a whopping 67.6% of their pass attempts for over 7.8 yards per attempt, leaving the Bucs ranked 29th in both. While their offense got them the win in Week 1, scoring 48 points, their secondary was shredded once again, allowing a league-high 432 passing yards and 82.3% completion rate to Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

While no one will claim Nick Foles is on the same level as Brees, the Super Bowl MVP has a solid track record, as he averaged over 320 yards passing with a 5.7% touchdown rate and 72.6% completion percentage in three playoff games last season.

The Bucs will also be without starting cornerback Vernon Hargreaves IIIout for the year with a shoulder injury -- and possibly Brent Grimes as well, leaving the secondary ripe for the picking by Foles.
