A game-day inactive after a rough preseason, rookie Ronald Jones isn't worth a bench spot right now. Which other players can you drop heading into Week 2?

Football is an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. One minute your favorite team’s star quarterback looks to be going down with yet another season-derailing injury, and the next he’s leading a miraculous come-from-behind effort on Sunday Night Football.

Lady Football giveth, and Lady Football taketh away.

Week 1 has visited us and granted our season with some incredible performances, but other players have looked downright awful, been demoted, or gotten injured. It’s our job as fantasy football players to figure out which of those situations are ones that force us to react and alter our strategies for the rest of the season.

Obviously, guys who suffered season-ending injuries in Week 1 – tight end Delanie Walker (ankle) and running back Jeremy Hill (ACL) – need to be dropped immediately. But we're going to focus on players who saw a smaller-than-expected role or under-performed when given an opportunity.

Here are five guys who can be confidently dropped from your roster after Week 1 in favor of other options.
