LeGarrette Blount, Philadelphia Eagles

Rushing NEP Per Carry: -0.32

The 2017 season saw LeGarrette Blount win his second successive Super Bowl. It also saw him sitting out on his own as the most inefficient red-zone rusher in the league.

This will certainly surprise some, considering Blount’s pedigree as a touchdown machine with the New England Patriots. In 2016, he led the league in red-zone rushing attempts with 71 and red-zone touchdowns with 16. He managed just two red-zone rushing scores this season. Despite seeing the 11th-most red-zone carries (33), only 7 of his attempts inside the 20 made a positive NEP gain -- a Success Rate of 21.21%, the second-worst among qualified backs.

Blount has professed his love for Philly and for Eagles running backs coach Duce Staley, but when you couple Blount's inefficiency with the Eagles' league-worst cap situation, a reunion should not be taken for granted.
