Fantasy Football: 4 Things We Learned From Week 15
Greg Olsen looked fully healthy against Green Bay, getting back to his old ways with a big game. What else can we take away from this week?

Jordy Nelson Is Over the Hill

It hurts to say it, but Jordy Nelson might finally have fallen victim to age.

This was supposed to be his triumphant return. Aaron Rodgers was back, and we all know how Rodgers and Nelson have some preternatural connection in the red zone. But in Week 15, Nelson was nowhere to be found. Looking at his stat line, you would almost think Brett Hundley was still throwing him the ball.

Sure, it was just one game with Rodgers back, but Rodgers' injury may have obscured a scarier truth -- Nelson might have lost a step. Despite a decent share of targets, Nelson has failed to produce with them while his teammates have. Per PlayerProfiler.com's Target Premium metric, Nelson has struggled not just in fantasy, but also relative to his teammates.

It shows in the numbers. Nelson hasn't cracked 35 receiving yards since Week 6, and he failed to reach that mark in Rodgers' return. Rodgers targeted Nelson fewer times than Randall Cobb, Geronimo Allison and Davante Adams -- and Adams and Allison only played about half as much as Nelson. Even with Rodgers back -- and it's not a given Rodgers plays again this year -- we can't trust Nelson in Week 16.
