Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars

In what has been a surprising development this season, Blake Bortles has been not bad and maybe even kind of good. His 0.12 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back ranks 15th among passers with at least 100 drop backs on the year, and his 6.21 adjusted net yards per attempt ranks 17th.

He continues to be a strong fantasy producer, especially in recent weeks. He has at least 16 fantasy points in six of his last seven games, really picking up the pace with 22.6, 25.1 and 18.5 fantasy points across his last three games.

Bortles brings that into a great matchup this week as he's taking on a Houston Texans defense that ranks 21st against the pass, per our metrics, and has allowed top-five fantasy production to quarterbacks on the year.
