The Return of Cameron Brate

Cameron Brate has averaged a 55.98% snap rate this season, including 51.92% rate in his last three games. Very similar, to say the least. His target share in the last three games, though, has plummeted to an abysmal 7.08%, just over nine percentage points lower than the 16.41% mark through his first seven outings.

Though there are likely a number of reasons that explain his sudden collapse in opportunity, the simple answer is he's averaged a mere 2.6 targets, 9.3 receiving yards, and 8.9-yard average depth of target with Ryan Fitzpatrick starting the last three games. With Jameis Winston at the helm of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense during the team's first seven games, Brate averaged 6.2 targets, 57.8 yards, and a 9.9-yard average depth of target. He's also recorded only one red zone target from Fitzpatrick after accruing nine from Winston.

Trust that Brate's volume will return this week and you could reap the rewards of an athletic tight end squaring off against the Green Bay Packers in a game that has seen its over/under already increase from 43 to 45.
