3 Bold NFL Predictions for Week 12

Corey Davis Will Be a Top-12 Wide Receiver

Why This Is Bold: Corey Davis hasn't had more than 48 receiving yards in a single game since returning from a multi-week absence due to injury. He also has yet to score a touchdown this season.

Why This Will Happen: Davis has seen 5, 10, and 7 targets in his three games post-injury. He was inches away from scoring a couple weeks ago, but his touchdown was overturned and ruled a fumble and touchback upon review.

More importantly, though, his last three matchups have been brutal. After facing three of the better passing defenses in the league in the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, and Pittsburgh Steelers, his schedule is about to open up -- starting this week.

The Tennessee Titans will travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts and their league-worst Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. (NEP, for those who are unaware, is numberFire's in-house efficiency metric. For more about NEP, visit our glossary.) For those anticipating a Corey Davis breakout, the wait might soon be over.
