4 NFL FanDuel Studs to Target in Week 11
Mike Evans returns from his one-game suspension and has a juicy matchup on tap with the Miami Dolphins. Which other high-priced NFL studs should be on your radar for FanDuel contests?

Alex Smith, QB, Kansas City Chiefs

FanDuel Price: $7,900
Projected Points: 22.2

With nine games played this season, it still feels a little weird calling Alex Smith one of the top plays of the week. After all, he has been in the league since 2005 and never finished a year among the top-12 quarterbacks in FanDuel points per game.

But 2017 has been different, as his average of 21.1 FanDuel points per game is currently the fourth-highest average of any player. Smith is currently on pace for career highs in pass attempts (520.9), completions (362.7), passing yards (4,344.9) and passing touchdowns (32), while also averaging the fewest interceptions per game (0.1) of his career.

That passing yardage total would eclipse his previous career-high set last season by over 800 yards, his 18 touchdowns currently rank fifth in the league, and he is the only quarterback to start at least nine games while throwing just one interception.

Smith has shown off a solid floor, with just one game under 15 FanDuel points, while also shedding his "game manager" label by topping 25 FanDuel points four times already. With him playing against the New York Giants, who are giving up the most FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks, this pick is a no-brainer.
