Week 10 NFL Advanced Analytics Superstars

The playoff picture for both the NFL and fantasy football is beginning to come into focus as we look ahead to Week 11, and it certainly has been an unpredictable season. When your top superstars this late in the season feature names like Adam Thielen, Alvin Kamara, and Robert Woods, you know its been a bit of an unconventional year.

Each week, we'll take a look at offensive players at each position who helped put their team in the best position to win. However, we'll be going beyond just the box score by diving into the impact of each player on their team's success.

To do this, we'll utilize our signature metric, Net Expected Points (NEP), which quantifies the number of points a player adds to his team versus how he's expected to perform. When a player rushes for 5 yards on a 3rd-and-3 and keeps the drive -- and potential for scoring points -- alive, he'll add more to his team's expected point total than when a player rushes for 5 yards on a 3rd-and-9 and forces his team to punt.

So, who were Week 10's NEP superstars?
