NFL
7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9

Jacoby Brissett, QB, Indianapolis Colts

Yahoo! Ownership: 20%

It's official. After spending the first eight weeks with the possibility of an Andrew Luck return looming over his head, Jacoby Brissett is now the Indianapolis Colts quarterback for the rest of the season, with Luck being placed on I.R. The former New England Patriot has done well in in Indy, considering the circumstances...those circumstances being that he's been on the team for barely over two months and has been sacked a league-high 33 times.

The last four weeks, Brissett has gotten into a groove, averaging 240.0 passing yards per game while completing over 61% of his passes and collecting 4 total touchdowns. And that's with a matchup against the NFL's top pass defense -- the Jacksonville Jaguars -- mixed in. In Week 9, he faces a Houston Texans team that has struggled to contain opposing quarterbacks since losing J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus to injury.

The Texans gave up a career-best 452 passing yards to Russell Wilson last week. Two games earlier, they allowed over 300 yards passing and 3 touchdowns to Alex Smith. Overall, Houston allows the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
