3 Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Options for Week 9
Vernon Davis is stepping in for Jordan Reed this week. Is he worth streaming in a tough matchup against the Seahawks?

O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Yahoo Ownership: 37%

After a monstrous 98-yard, 2-touchdown performance in Week 7, O.J. Howard dropped a dud on us in Week 8, catching 2 passes for 16 yards. He still saw over half of the team's snaps and has out-snapped Cameron Brate 90 to 78 over the past two weeks. Brate is clearly the preferred pass-catching option, but Howard has also flashed potential.

He'll draw a matchup against the New Orleans Saints this week, who have been performed well against an uninspiring group of tight ends this season. The only tight ends they have faced who have been consistent fantasy options are Rob Gronkowski and Kyle Rudolph, who managed a combined 142 yards and 2 touchdowns. Their defense has definitely appeared improved, but their numbers against tight ends are a bit misleading. Howard's uncertain target volume makes him a risky streaming option, but the upside is there.
