The New England Patriots have been a dreamy fantasy matchup in the passing game this season.

They rank a mere 26th versus the pass, per our schedule-adjusted metrics, allowing both the league's most yards and touchdowns through the air -- as well as the second most adjusted net yards per attempt. This has translated into big fantasy numbers, with no team allowing more fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks than the Pats do. It's not particularly close either, with a bigger gap between the Patriots' average and the next highest than there is between the 2nd- and 10th-ranked teams.

With a budget price tag, it almost doesn't matter who is starting at quarterback against New England -- said passer is going to be worth a look.

Philip Rivers brings in some promising numbers of his own, though. He's averaging the 13th-most FanDuel points per game among quarterbacks, and in a matchup with the Pats, he has no business being priced all the way down at QB16 for the week.
