Fantasy Football: 5 Tight Ends You Can Trust

Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles

What makes Zach Ertz the most dependable tight end for the rest of the season is the steady flow of targets he sees every single game. Ertz paces the position with 53 targets through six contests, 9 more than the next closest contestant. He also leads tight ends in catches and yards, and is tied for 1st in touchdowns with 4. With no consistent threat emerging at the wide receiver position for the Philadelphia Eagles, Ertz has become the focal point of the offense.

Don't forget that Darren Sproles and his 71 targets from 2016 are out of the lineup. The Eagles haven't been able to replace that passing production at running back, and Ertz is benefiting with a healthy dose of balls coming his way every Sunday...and even on Thursdays...oh, and probably Monday night against the Washington Redskins too.

Ertz may not have the upside of this next guy on the list, but he's the tight end most worthy of your trust the rest of the season.
