7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 5
With a favorable matchup and increased playing time, J.D. McKissic is in line for a big Week 5. Which other low-owned options are we targeting?

Josh McCown, QB, New York Jets

Yahoo! Ownership: 4%

Week 5 is a tough one for streaming quarterbacks. With top options Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, and Kirk Cousins on a bye, the waiver wire is a little bare. For those in a bind, don't be scared off on Josh McCown because of the New York Jets' seemingly anemic offense.

While he hasn't been racking up the yards (206.5 yards per game), McCown has proven to be capable quarterback in 2017. The well-traveled veteran ranks second in the NFL with a 70.1% completion percentage. He also owns a higher Success Rate -- the percentage of plays performed above expectation that increase his team’s chances of scoring -- than top-tier signal-callers like Aaron Rodgers, Dak Prescott, and Matthew Stafford. With the Cleveland Browns next on the schedule, McCown has a plus matchup you want from a bye-week fill in.

The Browns have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. In the last two weeks, they have been beaten by two struggling quarterbacks in Jacoby Brissett and Andy Dalton -- Brissett racked up 259 yards and 3 total scores while Dalton threw for 4 touchdowns and 288 yards.
