4 NFL FanDuel Studs to Target in Week 5

With byes starting and the New England Patriots playing on Thursday, the top-end options at quarterback get thinned out on the main slate. Not only are we unable to play Tom Brady, whose 24.4 FanDuel points per game leads all quarterbacks to play in at least two games this season, but we also can't target the Patriots' defense, which is giving up the most FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks.

That leaves Aaron Rodgers at the top of our list. His 21.5 FanDuel points per game ranks fifth among quarterbacks, and he has thrown for over 300 yards in three of four games. Rodgers is tied for the league-lead with 10 touchdown passes while throwing just 3 interceptions.

With the way he's playing, he will be in consideration as a top play most weeks, but in Week 5, he will get a boost against the Dallas Cowboys, who are giving up the eighth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Over the past three weeks, the Cowboys have given up eight passing touchdowns while managing just one interception.

Remember, we explained in the intro that we rely on our studs to not let our lineup down. Rodgers provides the highest floor of any quarterback this week, providing the safety we need when paying up.
