7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 4

Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Yahoo! Ownership: 16%

Inaccuracy and turnovers have hampered Blake Bortles' production recently, leaving him off many fantasy rosters. After a strong performance in Week 3, the Jacksonville Jaguars' signal caller has shown signs of life. Add in the fact that he has a Sunday date with the New York Jets and he's right back in the streaming conversation.

Last week against a Baltimore Ravens defense that allowed just 10 points in the first two weeks, Bortles tossed 4 touchdowns, keying a 44-point outburst. He completed 20-of-31 passes for 244 yards but most importantly did not turn the ball over, finishing as the 5th-best fantasy quarterback. For the year, he ranks 8th in passing Net Expected Points (NEP) and 5th in passing success rate.

As for those Jets, Gang Green has given up 24.0 points per game and 17.2 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. The defense has been especially vulnerable through the air, allowing 6 passing touchdowns, tied for the 4th-most in the NFL.
