3 Daily Fantasy Football Players to Avoid in Week 4
Despite coming off a big game, Pierre Garcon has a difficult matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4 that's worth avoiding. Who else should you keep out of your daily fantasy football lineups?

Pierre Garcon, WR, San Francisco 49ers

FanDuel Price: $6,600

DraftKings Price: $5,500

Last Thursday, Pierre Garcon had himself a day against the Los Angeles Rams. He caught 7-of-10 targets for 142 yards, which was good for 17.7 points on FanDuel and 24.2 points on DraftKings. Through three weeks, Garcon is averaging 8.3 targets a game, equal to notable names Stefon Diggs and Demaryius Thomas.

However, despite remaining reasonably priced on both sites, a repeat performance is unlikely against the Arizona Cardinals for one single reason: Patrick Peterson. Yes, with Garcon showing eight more targets than the next San Francisco wideout (Marquise Goodwin), he's expected to get the dreaded Peterson shadow treatment.

Thus far, Peterson has shadowed wide receivers in every game, with his victims being Marvin Jones, T.Y. Hilton and Dez Bryant. He's helped limit those three to a combined 8 receptions, 98 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Garcon will continue to be a target magnet for the 49ers, but this is a week to pass.
