The Houston Texans are the premier play at defense this week, as they host the Jacksonville Jaguars and quarterback Blake Bortles.

Bortles barely beat out Chad Henne for the Jaguars' starting job this summer, and he gets rewarded with a Week 1 matchup against J.J. Watt and company.

Bortles hasn't fared well recently against the Texans. Over his past four games against Houston, he's tossed seven total interceptions, and in three of those games, Bortles has thrown a pick-six. He's also been sacked 15 times in those contests, including an 8-sack massacre by the Texans in Week 17 of the 2015 season.

In that four-game span against Bortles, the Texans defense finished outside the top five in weekly scoring for team defenses just once. Sacks and turnovers are critical to big defensive performances in fantasy football, and the Texans have a history of putting up big numbers against Bortles and the Jags.

Vegas has the Texans set as a 5.5-point favorite, and the Jaguars implied team total of 17.0 is the second-lowest of the week.
