Fantasy Football: 8 Sleeper Wide Receivers to Target in 2017

The Kansas City Chiefs need snaps at wide receiver. They cut Jeremy Maclin and have little else on the roster. Per FantasyData, Chris Conley played 818 snaps last year, most among all Chiefs receivers, and had 45.47 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) in 2016 despite not scoring a touchdown. The math says that should correct a bit in 2017.
Conley's true upside is likely capped if Alex Smith refuses to air it out (Smith ranked second-lowest in intended air yards per attempt in 2016) and if the Chiefs don't throw it more in general (their 577 pass plays ranked 25th in 2016), but Conley has been a prime target on shorter passes in his career. His role seems safe, and if the team turns to Patrick Mahomes, he could maybe get to do this more and show off his breakaway speed while teams focus on stopping Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill.
