The year prior, Faulk showed no signs of slowing down. He played and started 14 of 16 games, and even though he split time with rookie Steven Jackson, he still totaled 1,084 yards from scrimmage.

In the rushing game, Faulk averaged four yards per carry for 774 yards on the year. Meanwhile, he caught 76.9% of his targets and accounted for one of his four total touchdowns as a pass-catcher out of the backfield.
