The 25 Best NFL Wide Receiver Seasons in the Last 25 Years
Over the last quarter century, which pass-catchers have produced the best single-season performances?

25. Wes Welker, New England Patriots (2011)

In his eighth NFL season and fifth with the New England Patriots, Wes Welker reached the peak of his career. Across 16 games, the short but quick possession receiver totaled an AV of 17. He caught an NFL-best 122 balls for 1,569 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Welker averaged 9.07 yards per target and caught 70.5% of all 173 targets sent his way. Needless to say, he was voted to the Pro Bowl and the NFL's All-Pro First Team for the fourth and second time in his career, respectively.
