Fantasy Football: Top 5 Busts of the 2016 Season
All of these players came into the season ranked among the elite at their position, but didn't come close to meeting expectations.

The only thing worse than a key injury in fantasy football is a major bust.

Injuries happen all the time and affect almost every fantasy team during the course of a season. Top-tier players who manage to stay healthy, yet perform at a low level are more of a rarity. They don't impact as many fantasy teams, but can be more devastating.

First- or second-round picks who turn out to be flops can quickly end a fantasy team's title hopes. Benching a player taken that high usually isn't a viable option because the alternatives aren't on the same talent level.

While injured players can technically be considered busts, these five players who failed to live up to their potential missed only a combined two games.
