Quarterback

Chalk:

Top end options such as Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Matt Ryan are all in great spots this weekend and should be popular. If paying down, the likes of Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins will be on most daily fantasy players' minds.

Pivots:

Matthew Stafford, $8,000 (vs Green Bay Packers): Matthew Stafford has struggled to close out the season, thanks in large part to an injured middle finger on his throwing hand. If ever there was a spot to bounce back, though, it's this week in a must-win game against the Green Bay Packers. This game has the second-highest over/under on the slate and should be a shootout, and Stafford will likely be forced to throw early and often while playing catch-up against Green Bay's funnel-defense. The Packers have allowed the seventh-most FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season, and the last time Stafford faced them, he threw for 385 yards and 3 scores.

Blake Bortles, $7,600 (at Indianapolis Colts): For as much hate as Blake Bortles has received from the fantasy community this season, he has actually been fairly predictable on a game-to-game basis. The Garbage Time Hero has thrived when facing weak pass defenses, averaging 21.2 FanDuel points against teams in the bottom-10 in FanDuel points allowed per game to opposing quarterbacks, as opposed to 16.2 points in all other contests. The Indianapolis Colts are one of those bad teams, ranking eighth-worst in FanDuel points allowed and sixth-worst in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back. In their last meeting, Bortles posted his third-highest FanDuel point total of the season (25.88).
