High-Cost Option: Tom Brady ($7,700)
After a poor outing against the Denver Broncos, ownership for Tom Brady could be a little down this week with him squaring off against the New York Jets. That could prove costly as Brady is in an excellent matchup against the Jets' struggling secondary. The Jets have the second-worst pass defense, per our metrics, and have allowed the fourth-most passing touchdowns. They've also given up at least 20-plus fantasy points to seven different quarterbacks this season. Excluding last week's game against Denver, Brady has averaged 24.6 DK points per game and thrown multiple touchdowns in seven of nine games.
Mid-Cost Option: Andrew Luck ($7,000)
If you're looking to avoid shelling out top dollar for a quarterback this week, Andrew Luck is a player who should be on your radar. He's thrown 8 touchdowns over his last three games, averaging 22.6 DK points in that span. He takes on an Oakland Raiders secondary that ranks in the top 12 in most passing yards allowed and most passing touchdowns allowed. They're a bottom-12 unit, according to our schedule-adjusted numbers. The Raiders have given up three games of at least 30-plus fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. That's a ceiling well worth chasing in GPPs in the what is expected to be a high-scoring game.
Low-Cost Option: Tyrod Taylor ($5,400)
Tyrod Taylor looks to be in a great spot to capitalize on a depleted Miami Dolphins secondary that has struggled defending the pass. Byron Maxwell may miss this week's matchup after not practicing through Thursday. Miami is giving up the 8th-most passing touchdowns and 11th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Taylor is averaging over 37 rushing yards per game -- nearly the equivalent of an additional passing touchdown. He had a 24.3-point outing in his previous matchup with Miami, and TyGod could put up a similar performance this week versus a Maxwell-less secondary.
