A lot of this week's fringe-fantasy starters at quarterback are pretty heavily owned, so if you need to start a quarterback off the waiver wire, you're likely going to have to go pretty deep.

Colin Kaepernick's ugly performances in Weeks 12 and 13 were not encouraging, but he had posted 18-plus fantasy points in 5 of his 6 starts before that stretch, and he bounced back last week with a decent 17.4 points scored.

Kaep has now finished as a top-10 fantasy quarterback five times in the last seven weeks while the Los Angeles Rams have allowed three top-five performances in their last four games, making this a solid spot for Kaepernick.
