Andrew Luck, QB, Indianapolis Colts

FanDuel Price: $8,100

There are a couple quarterbacks in tough spots this week, with Tom Brady leading the charge. Since most people aren't going to poke the bear and roster a quarterback against the Denver Broncos, let's turn our attention to Andrew Luck.

The Indianapolis Colts have a brutal road matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, who are allowing the third-fewest FanDuel points to opposing quarterbacks. The loss of Harrison Smith does ding the Vikings' defense a little, but over the last four weeks, they're still giving up just 14.54 points to opposing passers, which is the 10th-fewest in the league. The Colts' implied total is a meager 20.5 points.

On top of the tough road matchup, Donte Moncrief has been ruled out. Moncrief hasn't been the breakout star in 2016 that many had hoped for, but he has been a go-to red zone weapon for Luck over the past three years. Per the RotoViz Game Splits App, since the start of 2014, Luck is averaging 2.39 touchdown passes per game with Moncrief playing and 1.86 touchdown throws per game when Moncrief sits.

Per our projections, Luck is our 19th-ranked signal caller for the week, and he's priced as the fifth-most expensive passer. Luck lacks the safety to use in cash games and the ceiling isn't there for tournaments, making him an easy fade this week.
