10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 15
With several injuries in Week 14, Week 15 presents an opportunity for savvy owners to get a leg up on their opponents in the fantasy playoffs.

Pierre Garcon, WR, Washington Redskins

In a week full of exciting speculative adds, we're going to start with a somewhat boring, albeit necessary one. Pierre Garcon again led the Washington Redskins in targets in Week 14, which he turned into 5 catches for 59 yards and a score. With that game, Garcon has now reached double-digit PPR points in seven of his last nine games -- a stretch over which he has averaged 13.9 points.

Garcon, often being thought of as the third or fourth option on his own team, doesn't get the respect he deserves in fantasy football. While he may lack some of the big-play ability that teammates Jamison Crowder, DeSean Jackson, or Jordan Reed possess, Garcon has low-key been the number one option in a high-powered Washington Redskins pass attack all year.

He ranks first among Washington pass-catchers in snaps played, targets, and catches and is just 31 yards behind Crowder for the team lead in yards.

Garcon isn't flashy, but he has been a dependable flex-worthy option in PPR leagues for most of the year. If you're a Julio Jones, Donte Moncrief, or Michael Thomas owner and are feeling nervous about your receiver depth heading into a week with huge playoff implications, knowing that you can plug Garcon in and are almost guaranteed six-plus targets in a high-octane offense should help put your mind at ease.
