Week 13 Fantasy Football Defensive Streaming: Playing the Packers

The Green Bay Packers host Brock Osweiler and the Houston Texans in Week 13. Which other defenses are set up for success?

Last week, two out of our three defensive streaming options put forth a top-8 defensive performance. Our top option, the New Orleans Saints, finished as the eighth-best defense on the week while the Pittsburgh Steelers came through for us again, finishing as the fifth-best scoring defense on the week.

Unfortunately our third option, the Tennessee Titans flopped against Matt Barkley and the Chicago Bears, finishing outside the top 12.

But with that performance from the Saints, we're now averaging 9.8 points per game from our primary streaming option -- the one listed in the headline -- which, among team defenses, is good enough to rank us as the fourth-best on the year in standard scoring leagues.

Now that we're onto Week 13, we may be needing a win to make it into the fantasy playoffs. Unfortunately for those of us streaming defenses, there aren't many appealing matchups this week. Our top option is in a plum spot, though, and two teams for the NFC East make the list this week.

As always, we're combing through the waiver wire to identify low-owned defenses that have a great matchup. For this exercise, we're focusing on teams that are less than 50% owned on both ESPN and Yahoo. Our goal is to identify units poised to finish as a top-12 scorer this week.
