10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 13

Stakes are getting higher and higher as the fantasy playoffs approach. Who can you count on to give your team a boost?

With the NFL season flying by as it seems to do every year, we're already looking ahead to Week 13, which means that you probably have only one or two weeks left before your fantasy league's playoffs begin.

Waiver wire strategy tends to change as we come down to the wire. Speculative stashes are less and less valuable as the amount of time they have to pan out shrinks, and -- depending on how safe your playoff spot is -- you can start looking to make moves weeks in advance, looking forward towards Weeks 14 and beyond to spot good matchups as well as players who may be returning from injury.

Of course, some teams are still scrambling for their playoff lives and will need players who can step up and contribute immediately.
