3 FanDuel Defenses to Target in Week 12

When you start doing D/ST research for the week, your first step should always be to look at the NFL schedule and check to see who is playing the Jacksonville Jaguars. Their mistake-prone offense provides plenty of fantasy scoring opportunities for the opposing defense, especially recently -- they’ve allowed D/STs to score 10 or more FanDuel points in three straight games.

The Buffalo D/ST will have the pleasure of hosting the Jags’ offense this week and they are expected to win by a comfortable margin as 7.5-point favorites. The Jaguars have an implied team total of 18.75, which has already dropped 1.5 points since the lines opened and is now tied for the fourth-lowest total of the week.

This Buffalo defense has shown major upside this season, too. They scored 22, 15, and 17 FanDuel points, respectively, during a three-game stretch earlier in the season. But they also have a safe floor as they’ve recorded at least three sacks in seven of their 10 games this year.

They get the “Jacksonville price bump” this week as $4,800 is the most expensive they’ve been all season on FanDuel. But their combination of a solid floor with a huge ceiling in this matchup make them a great play in all formats.
