FanDuel Salary Changes: Week 11

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

FanDuel Price: $8,400
Salary Change: Up $700

In his second game back from knee surgery, Ben Roethlisberger completed 80.4 percent of his passes while throwing for 408 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Cowboys in Week 10. As a result, his FanDuel salary has increased $700 to $8,400 for his matchup with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

But there are a couple factors that should cause hesitation in putting Roethlisberger in your FanDuel lineup this weekend. For one, he’s performed historically worse on the road and those splits have been amplified this season:

2016 Splits Comp % TD QB Rating Y/A
Home 68.92 15 119.7 8.37
Road 60.95 5 80.4 6.62

Secondly, take a look at the weather forecast from Weather.com for Sunday in Cleveland:

Now, most fantasy players overreact to weather situations, but this is an exception. In the last three years when the wind is sustained at 15 miles per hour or higher, quarterbacks reached cash game value just 21.4 percent of the time and astoundingly did not reach tournament value in a single game. With projected winds of 30 miles per hour, you should be fading Ben Roethlisberger, as well as any other passing options in Cleveland this weekend, in all formats.
