Julius Thomas, Jacksonville Jaguars

Owned in 47.5% of ESPN Leagues

Julius Thomas finished second only to Delanie Walker in tight end targets last week, finishing the day with 6 catches for 24 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets against a tough Houston Texans defense. That's now three touchdowns in his last four games, and he appears to be heating up at just the right time as he gets a premier matchup against the Detroit Lions this weekend.

The Lions have given up the second-most fantasy points (standard scoring) to opposing tight ends this season, highlighted by a league-worst 10 touchdowns allowed in nine games. This is nothing new for Detroit, either. Since the beginning of last season, they have given up a league-worst 22 touchdowns to tight ends in 25 games.

Thomas is available in over 50% of ESPN leagues and has enough touchdown potential in this tantalizing matchup that it wouldn't be a shock to see him lead the position in fantasy scoring.
