Quarterbacks

High-Cost Option: Aaron Rodgers ($7,800)

In this week's highest projected scoring game (54 point total), Aaron Rodgers makes for a terrific play in cash and tournaments as a 7-point home favorite. Rodgers has been on fire lately, averaging 30.8 fantasy points per game over his last two contests with 7 total touchdowns. The Indianapolis Colts are giving up the third-most passing yards, seventh-most total touchdowns, and eighth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Rodgers is this week's highest-priced quarterback but one who also has the potential to score multiple touchdowns without any semblance of a running game.

Mid-Cost Option: Andrew Luck ($6,700)

On the other side of the field, Andrew Luck also makes for a great play in this high-scoring affair. The Green Bay Packers will likely be missing their top-three cornerbacks again due to injury, leaving a susceptible secondary open for Luck to dissect. Green Bay ranks towards the middle of the pack in just about every relevant passing statistic, but with the Colts being seven-point road underdogs, Luck will likely need to pass out of necessity to keep pace in this game. Luck has averaged 25.2 points per game over his last four contests with 9 total touchdowns.

Low-Cost Option: Colin Kaepernick ($5,600)

If trying to save money this week at the quarterback position, Colin Kaepernick could make for a very interesting punt play. Kap's built-in rushing floor provides a safety net, but he should have a good opportunity of putting up some solid passing totals against this New Orleans Saints' secondary. The Saints rank bottom-10 among pass defenses according to our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing NEP. This is another game with a projected total over 50-points, and at the pace the San Francisco 49ers play with, this could turn into a shootout with two quarterbacks playing against ineffective defenses.

Other Options: Drew Brees ($7,200), Cam Newton ($7,000), Ben Roethlisberger ($6,600)
