Minnesota Vikings

FanDuel Price: $5,200
Projections: 19.60 points allowed, 2.25 sacks, 1.7 turnovers, 0.22 touchdowns

For good reason. the Minnesota D/ST is the most expensive defense this week on slates that include the Monday night game. The Vikings’ defense is averaging 15.3 FanDuel points per game, which is unparalleled. Since the beginning of 2014, no D/ST has averaged more than 13.1 FanDuel points per game for an entire season, and the Vikings are currently two points better than that.

Their lowest output of the season has been eight FanDuel points, and they’ve scored in double digits in all but two games. With a season-high 26 FanDuel points in Week 3, they’re consistent, and they have massive ceiling.

Versus the Chicago Bears on Monday night, the Vikings are five-point favorites on the road. The Bears have a slate-low implied team total of 18 points, which is actually less than our projection of 19.6 points.

With Brian Hoyer out with a broken arm, Jay Cutler will be back under center this week. Cutler has thrown an interception in 12 of his last 18 games, and we shouldn’t expect him to stop turning the ball over anytime soon. Until the Vikings prove otherwise, they’re a top D/ST play every week.
