Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Owned in 31.1% of ESPN Leagues

Cameron Brate has seen just six total targets over the past two games, but that has been in large part due to Jameis Winston throwing just 30 passes per game, as opposed to the 44.3 attempts he averaged over the first four games. A big reason for the lower volume has been game script, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won back to back games after starting the season 1-3. This week should yield a much more competitive game, as most early Week 8 lines have this week's home game against the Oakland Raiders listed as a pick 'em.

In addition to possibly seeing more volume, Brate will benefit from a great matchup this week. Heading into Week 7, Oakland had allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends (in standard scoring), and then they allowed Julius Thomas to catch Blake Bortles' only touchdown pass of the day.

Brate has proven that he can be a usable fantasy asset, totaling 10 catches, 113 yards, and 2 touchdowns over Week 2 and Week 3. In a terrific matchup, he is a serviceable streaming option this week.
