The Oakland Raiders have had a hard time against the pass this year, ranking 29th in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back. They also rank 29th in adjusted yards per pass attempt, have allowed the most passing yards per game, and have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.

Alex Smith probably isn't going to blow you away with gaudy numbers, but he has been seeing a ton of volume this season -- averaging 42 pass attempts per game -- and that should translate to nice production with such a good matchup.
