Tight End: Greg Olsen

Greg Olsen, TE, Carolina Panthers
9 Receptions, 181 Yards, 13 Targets
Performance: 97, NEP: +13.40

I forewarned seeing a repeat performance by Olsen on this list, and he wasted little time returning with back-to-back finishes as the weekly top performer. Olsen's now led this list in three of five weeks and ranked second in Week 1. Despite Cam Newton's absence in this game, Olsen was able to put up a monster stat line, catching 9 of 13 targets for 181 yards.

Olsen didn't have any breakout plays, but he was able to pick up yardage in big chunks this week. We saw Derek Anderson heavily target Olsen last week (32 percent target market share), and that continued in Week 5 with Olsen seeing an astronomical 46.4 percent of the team's targets heading his way. Olsen currently ranks top-three in Reception NEP, Target NEP, and Total NEP and has been an offensive juggernaut for the Panthers. He leads all tight ends in receiving yards and ranks fourth among all skill players in that category.

Continuing the trend of second-place fantasy finisher, Olsen picked up the second-most PPR fantasy points among all tight ends, trailing only Martellus Bennett and his three-touchdown performance. Olsen now leads the position in most fantasy points scored by a landslide, averaging 19.7 fantasy points per game.
