Which players from Week 3 helped put their team in the best position to succeed?

Quarterback: Matthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions
28 for 41, 385 Yards, 3 Touchdowns, 1 INT
Performance: 95, NEP: +20.14

Our first repeat performer of the season, Stafford leads all quarterbacks for the second time in Performance Rating after also doing so in Week 1. On the road in Green Bay, Stafford completed 28 of 41 attempts for 385 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception.

Despite little help up front from the offensive line in the rushing attack, Stafford was able to find holes in Dom Capers' defense to turn this NFC North rivalry into a game in the second half. Stafford completed 68.3% of his passes while connecting with 7 different receivers.

Only Matt Ryan has a higher Total NEP than Stafford through the first three weeks.

Stafford finished as the overall fantasy QB2 (standard scoring) this week, just behind Trevor Siemian. After three weeks, Stafford ranks as the overall QB3, continuing the great play we saw last year once Jim Bob Cooter took over as offensive coordinator. With a matchup against the injury-depleted Chicago Bears next week, look for Stafford to continue his current high-performance trend.
