The Eagles' defense came through for us in Week 1, sacking Robert Griffin III three times and forcing one interception and a safety en route to a top-three finish among fantasy defenses.

In Week 2, let's go back to the well with the Eagles as they face another turnover prone quarterback with a subpar offensive line in Jay Cutler. In Week 1, Cutler threw for 216 yards and a touchdown against the Houston Texans but also tossed an interception and absorbed 5 sacks in a 23-14 loss.

If we use numberFire's signature metric, Net Expected Points (NEP), which shows us how players perform up to historical expectation, Cutler's performance in Week 1 was one of the worst in the league. His Passing NEP per drop back in Week 1 (-0.12) ranked third-worst in the league, as he performed better than only Griffin (-0.33) and Case Keenum (-0.42).

Outside of Alshon Jeffery, the Chicago Bears' offense is lacking in playmakers. Jeremy Langford produced 57 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries against Houston. Meanwhile, in Kevin White's debut, he corralled just 3 of 7 targets for 34 yards and may have run the wrong route on Cutler's interception. Zach Miller was also a non-factor, turning 3 catches into only 14 yards.

This Eagles-Bears Monday night tilt has one of the lower projected point totals of the week at 42.5 with the Eagles a 3-point underdog. While the Eagles may not be playing from out in front this week like they were against the Browns, the defense should still find opportunities to wreak havoc against Cutler in the backfield.
