Plugging the Gaps: IDP Waiver Wire for Week 1
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Connor Barwin will spin offensive linemen like a carousel in Week 1.

2015 Season Recap

This is the second year of Plugging the Gaps, and we’re looking at a sleeker, better weekly column to help all of you degenerates on a weekly basis. We had 10 installments last season, with 8 IDP recommendations owned in 15% of ESPN IDP leagues or fewer per week. I use balanced scoring (1 point per tackle, 3 per sack) as my “standard”, and I consider 3.0 points a hit for defensive linemen (DL) and defensive backs (DB), with 5.0 points a hit for linebackers (LB).

I value your IDP teams as much as I value my own, so I want to remain accountable to you all in my advice. I provide a weekly recap of my previous recommendations and a running tally of my hits and misses in this column.

How did we do in 2015?

2015 Totals
DL: 20-for-30 (66.7%)
LB: 18-for-30 (60.0%)
DB: 12-for-20 (60.0%)
Overall: 50-for-80 (62.5%)

Now, let's look at recommendations for Week 1.
