Fantasy Football: 5 End-of-Draft Tight Ends With Huge Touchdown Potential
Even late in a fantasy football draft, we can find tight ends on high-powered offenses with huge touchdown potential. Which should we target for 2016?

Jared Cook, Green Bay Packers

If Allen isn't wearing the crown of late-round tight ends with stupid touchdown upside, it's because Jared Cook swatted that puppy away. He's been waiting for his turn as a fantasy-relevant option for quite some time.

There are 11 quarterbacks who have targeted Cook in his career. Of those 11, only Kerry Collins and Matt Hasselbeck have ever finished as top-10 quarterbacks in numberFire's efficiency metric -- Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per dropback -- for a single season, and both played with Cook at least three years after their final season in the top 10. Basically, it has been a whole lotta donkey doo coming his way. That'll change with Aaron Rodgers.

Even when the Green Bay Packers' offense was struggling last year, Richard Rodgers finished 11th in PPR scoring among tight ends, according to FantasyData.com, thanks to eight touchdown receptions on 85 targets. Now, Cook seems to have passed him as the team's receiving option at tight end.

Rodgers had solid production when the offense was down. Now, with Jordy Nelson and most of the offensive line healthy, we should be expecting a rebound from the offense in general. If that happens, look for Cook to have some big weeks in fantasy.
