Aaron Rodgers suffered groin injury in Packers' Week 15 loss

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a groin injury in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears.

What It Means:

Rodgers said the injury "bothered me a little bit" after halftime. The Packers have been eliminated from playoff contention, but interim head coach Joe Philbin indicated Rodgers won't be shut down for the final two games of the season. They face the New York Jets in Week 16.

numberFire's models project Rodgers for 20.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,000 on Sunday. He's the QB14 in our Week 16 fantasy rankings.

Melvin Gordon (knee) feels 'good enough' for Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (knee) said he feels 'good enough' to play Week 16 against the Baltimore Ravens.

What It Means:

“I feel good, not 100 percent obviously,” Gordon conceded. “I don’t think that’s a secret. But I’m good enough to get out there.” It's a tough matchup, but Gordon is fully expected to return on Saturday night after missing the past three games.

Gordon is the RB5 in numberFire's week 16 fantasy rankings. Our models expect him to score 19.0 FanDuel points.

Wil Lutz converts on pair of field goals, Saints beat Panthers

New Orleans Saints kicker Wil Lutz made 2-of-2 field goals in a 12-9, Week 15 win over the Carolina Panthers on Monday night.

What It Means:

Lutz converted on a pair of first-half kicks, from 46 and 24 yards out. He's only missed two kicks this entire season. The Saints host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16.

Lutz is 27-for-28 on field goals (96.4 percent) and 46-for-47 (97.9 percent) on extra points through 14 games this season.

Mark Ingram produces 74 scoreless yards in Saints' win

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram rushed 12 times for 63 yards and turned 2 targets into 2 receptions for 11 yards in a 12-9, Week 15 win over the Carolina Panthers on Monday night.

What It Means:

Ingram gained more yards than he did in the previous three games, but it was the third time in the past four weeks he failed to hit paydirt. Alvin Kamara out-touched Ingram 21-14. The Saints return home to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16.

Ingram scored 8.4 FanDuel points in Week 15. Looking ahead, he's the RB23 in numberFire's Week 16 fantasy rankings and projected for 10.6 FanDuel points, at a cost of $6,600.

Drew Brees submits 203 scoreless yards, interception for New Orleans

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees completed 23-of-35 passes for 203 scoreless yards and 1 interception in a 12-9, Week 15 win over the Carolina Panthers on Monday night.

What It Means:

Brees didn't fare too well on the Saints' three-game road trip, averaging just 177.0 yards per game with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He returns to the fantasy-friendly Superdome in Week 16 for a likely shootout with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 57.0-point total is the highest over/under on the slate.

Brees scored 8.9 FanDuel points in Week 15. Looking ahead, he's the QB2 in numberFire's Week 16 fantasy rankings and projected for 24.7 FanDuel points, at a cost of $8,400.
