College Football Daily Fantasy Helper: Friday 11/26/21
KJ Jefferson is the latest gunslinger to get his shot at the porous Missouri defense. Who else should we consider targeting?

Week 13 of college football is here! FanDuel's college football DFS main slate on Friday includes 14 games.

In case you're unfamiliar with how it works, you can check out the rules and scoring on FanDuel, where you can hit the lobby each week to see the full array of slates and contests being offered.

As for the basics, your roster consists of a quarterback slot, two running backs, three wide receivers (which also includes tight ends), and one "Super FLEX". In the Super FLEX spot, you can insert one player from any position, including quarterbacks.

Here, our goal is to help you field a roster full of fantasy goodness, and in true numberFire fashion, we'll use our DFS projections, game projections, and market share report to tackle as many slates as possible in the lead-up to the College Football Playoff. In this piece, we are breaking down Saturday's main slate, which locks at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Let's look at which players are in great spots as well as identify some players with low salaries who will allow you to roster the high-salary players.

Quarterbacks

Desmond Ridder, Cincinnati ($11,000) – Ridder has elevated his game as the Cincinnati Bearcats chase a playoff spot. The dual-threat quarterback has accounted for 13 total touchdowns over the last four games. He has cleared 40 rushing in four straight games -- something he only accomplished one time over the first seven games of this season. I'm expecting another signature performance against the East Carolina Pirates on Friday. East Carolina's defense is allowing nearly 390 yards per game to opposing offenses. The Pirates have allowed 36 total touchdowns through 11 games.

KJ Jefferson, Arkansas ($9,800) – Jefferson could light up the box score against the Missouri Tigers' horrendous defense. The Tigers' defense has allowed a staggering 50 touchdowns to opposing offenses through 11 games. Meanwhile, Jefferson has recorded 14 touchdown passes over the last six games. He is also averaging 13.3 rushing attempts per game during that time span. I would not be surprised to see a ceiling game from the Arkansas Razorbacks signal-caller this week.

Ben Bryant, Eastern Michigan ($8,400) – Bryant backed up Desmond Ridder at Cincinnati last season. Now, Bryant is the Eastern Michigan Eagles' starting quarterback. Bryant is averaging 289.2 passing yards per game in conference play this season. Additionally, the senior has accounted for 11 total touchdowns in MACtion play. On tap is a date with in-state rival Central Michigan. Central Michigan is allowing an ugly 8.48 yards per pass attempt. The Chippewas rank 116th nationally in passing yards allowed per game (270.5).

Mikey Keene, Central Florida ($7,200) – The freshman has elevated his play as the Central Florida Knights starting quarterback. Keene has accounted for 11 touchdowns over the last four games. While he's not a threat to run the ball, he should be able to take advantage of the South Florida Bulls struggling pass defense. The Bulls are allowing 279.4 passing yards per game, which ranks 122nd nationally. They have been torched for 25 touchdown passes through 11 games.

Others to Consider:
Sam Howell ($11,400), Cameron Rising ($10,200), Devin Leary ($10,000), Logan Bonner ($9,600), Daniel Richardson ($9,000), Brock Purdy ($8,500), Max Duggan ($7,500), Skylar Thompson ($7,000 - fantastic GPP option), Timmy McClain ($6,300), Connor Bazelik ($5,900), Lucas Johnson ($5,700)

Running Backs

Lew Nichols III, Central Michigan ($11,200) – Nichols III is one of the most productive running backs in college football. Nichols III leads the nation in rushing yards per game (137.8). Additionally, the freshman's workload is elite. Nichols III has recorded an insane 75 carries over the last two games. We could see a monster performance against Eastern Michigan on Saturday. The Eagles rank 107th nationally in rushing yards allowed per game (191.0). Furthermore, Eastern Michigan has been slammed for 23 rushing touchdowns this season. Nichols will be popular, but I plan on locking him into all of my lineups.

Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State ($10,000) – The versatile running back has tallied 1,115 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns through 11 games. Additionally, Vaughn is the Kansas State Wildcats' second-leading receiver. The diminutive speedster has 45 receptions, 464 receiving yards, and three touchdowns receptions this season. Needless to say, he is operating in a workhorse role. That is appetizing against the Texas Longhorns porous defense. The Longhorns rank 106th in total defense (allowing 437.6 total yards per game). Vaughn is a great bet to find the end zone on Friday as the Longhorns defense has been torched for 42 touchdowns this season (11 games).

De'Montre Tuggle, Ohio ($8,500) – I'm hoping Tuggle slips through the cracks on Friday. The Ohio Bobcats ball carrier is averaging 13.6 carries per game over the last seven games. Most importantly, he finds himself in a home run spot on Friday. The Bobcats face-off with Bowling Green's atrocious defense. The Falcons' defense has allowed a soul-crushing 29 rushing touchdowns through 11 games.

Isaiah Bowser, Central Florida ($6,500) – Bowser has regained his status as the Knights featured running back after missing a few games due to injury. Post-injury (four games), Bowser has averaged 18.3 carries per game. The senior is a solid source of salary relief at running back. Moreover, the matchup with South Florida is phenomenal. The Bulls rank 115th nationally in rushing yards allowed per game (209.9). Additionally, they have surrendered 27 rushing touchdowns through 11 games.

Others to Consider:
Breece Hall ($10,800), Tavion Thomas ($10,200), Jerome Ford ($9,700), Brad Roberts ($9,400), Tyler Badie ($9,200), Ty Chandler ($8,800), Calvin Tyler Jr. ($8,300), Tyler Goodson ($8,200), Greg Bell ($7,800), Max Borghi ($7,600), Roschon Johnson ($7,400), Ricky Person Jr. ($6,600), Cam Davis ($6,200), Zonovan Knight ($6,200)

Wide Receivers

Treylon Burks, Arkansas ($9,000) – I haven't seen a status update on Burks after Saturday's loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Assuming Burks is good to go on Friday, he makes for a fantastic option. The Razorbacks star has tallied seven touchdown receptions over the last five games. The junior has eclipsed 100-receiving yards in five out of 10 games this season. Additionally, Burks has an appealing 30.9% target share.

If Burks is unable to play, we can either go up to the Texas Longhorns emerging star wide receiver Xavier Worthy ($9,200) or save some salary and roster Ryan O'Keefe ($8,600). Worthy has at least one touchdown reception in five straight games. Meanwhile, O'Keefe has established a solid rapport with quarterback Mikey Keene. O'Keefe has racked up five-plus receptions in six consecutive games.

Hassan Beydoun, Eastern Michigan ($8,300) – It's great to see some MACtion on the main slate. Anyway, Beydoun has drawn an eye-opening 37 targets over the last three games. Moreover, the Eagles slot receiver is averaging 8.7 receptions and 110.0 receiving yards during that time span. As noted above, the Eagles' pass game should thrive against Central Michigan's vulnerable pass defense.

DeAndre Hughes, Air Force ($6,500) – Hughes is listed as a wide receiver but he is basically operating as one of the Air Force Falcons running backs. The junior exploded for 221 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries in last week's 41-39 three-overtime win over the Nevada Wolf Pack. That game marked his second straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.

Austin Osborne, Bowling Green ($5,600) – Osborne is a solid source of salary relief. He leads the Falcons with a target share of 24.2%. The junior has recorded five-plus receptions in eight out of 11 games. With Bowling Green's defense allowing 39.7 points per game, I'd expect plenty of volume for Osborne and the Falcons' passing game.

Others to Consider:
Deven Thompkins ($10,200), Josh Downs ($9,700), Khalil Shakir ($8,900), Kalil Pimpleton ($8,700), Xavier Hutchinson ($8,200), Alec Pierce ($8,000), Tanner Knue ($7,900), Jaylin Robinson ($7,700), Emeka Emezie ($7,600), Charlie Kolar ($7,600), Dylan Drummond ($7,500), Isaih Cox ($7,300), Derek Wright ($7,200), Devin Carter ($7,000), Jordan Whittington ($6,000), Philip Brooks ($5,800), Octavius Evans ($5,500)
