College Football Single-Game Daily Fantasy Helper: Thursday 11/19/20 (Tulane at Tulsa)

Week 12 of the college football season continues Thursday night as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane play host to the Tulane Green Wave.

For those unfamiliar, single-game slates feature five flex spots with identical scoring to the main slate. However, there is an "MVP" roster slot. The MVP receives 1.5 times his total fantasy points, making this spot crucial.

MVP Consideration

Zach Smith, Tulsa ($16,000) - In American Conference play (four games), Smith is averaging 271 passing yards and 2.25 touchdown passes. He’s in a great spot on Thursday night as Tulsa travels to Tulane. Tulane has been flamed by opposing quarterbacks this season. The Green Wave are allowing an average of 275 passing yards per game, which ranks 105th nationally. Additionally, they’ve been torched for 18 touchdown passes in nine games.

TK Wilkerson, Tulsa ($14,000) - While he shares the backfield with Deneric Prince, TK Wilkerson has been receiving a monstrous workload in each of the last three games he’s played in. The sophomore has gotten 61 carries and scored four touchdowns over his last three games. Wilkerson has also cleared 85 rushing yards in those three.

Keylon Stokes, Tulsa ($13,000) - Per Pro Football Focus, Stokes leads the Golden Hurricane in targets (36), receptions (28), and receiving yards (428). He has two touchdown receptions this season. Zach Smith is posting a passer rating of 123.1 when targeting Stokes this season, which is a team high. Additionally, Stokes has recorded at least four receptions and cleared 55 receiving yards in all five games in 2020.

Michael Pratt, Tulane ($12,500) - The freshman is progressing nicely as the 2020 winds down. The dual-threat quarterback is averaging 208.3 passing yards, 25.3 rushing yards, and 2.8 total touchdowns over the last four games. The Pratt-led Tulane offense has scored at least 31 points in each of his last six starts.

Others to consider: Josh Johnson and Deneric Prince.

Value Plays

Deuce Watts, Tulane ($10,500) - Watts has emerged as Michael Pratt’s go-to pass catcher. The junior is averaging 5.3 receptions and 85.3 receiving yards over the last three games. Additionally, four out of his five touchdown receptions have occurred in those three contests.

Stephon Huderson, Tulane ($8,500) - Huderson is the Green Wave’s starting running back. He leads the Green Wave in rushing with 548 yards and three touchdowns on 83 carries. He’s averaging an impressive 6.6 yards per carry. The last two starting running backs to square off with Tulsa have each topped 100 rushing yards.

Juan Carlos Santana, Tulsa ($7,500) - Juan Carlos has been heating up as the season progresses. The slot receiver has nine receptions and 145 receiving yards over the last two games. Both of his touchdown receptions this season have occurred within the last three games.

Mykel Jones, Tulane ($7,000) - Jones is the Green Wave’s starting slot wide receiver. That’s notable because Tulsa has struggled with the slot receiver in each of the last two games. East Carolina’s Tyler Sneed racked up 16 receptions, 108 receiving yards, and one touchdown against Tulsa three weeks ago while SMU’s Danny Gray tallied eight receptions and 93 yards receiving against Tulsa last week. Both Sneed and Gray posted team-high marks in those games.

Others to consider: Cameron Carroll, Amare Jones, Sam Crawford Jr., Jha’Quan Jackson, Corey Taylor II (if he plays), Tyrick James, and Josh Stewart.
