Purdue getting Vince Edwards back for another year
Purdue Junior guard Vince Edwards is withdrawing from the NBA Draft and returning to school for his senior season, per Brain Neubert of GoldandBlack.com.
Edwards entered the draft without an agent for the second year in a row. Just like last season, he did not receive any guarantees he would be selected so he opted to go back to school. With Caleb Swanigan leaving for the NBA, Edwards and center Isaac Haas will be asked to shoulder a larger offensive role in the 2017-18 season.
Edwards averaged 12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting over 42% from three last season.
