UCLA will have Aaron Holiday and Thomas Welsh back in the fall

UCLA Bruins junior center Thomas Welsh and sophomore guard Aaron Holiday have withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return to school in the fall, per Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports.

What It Means:

The duo entered the draft without hiring an agent preserving their college eligibility. Neither player was projected to be selected in a loaded 2017 draft class, spurring their decision to return to Westwood for the 2017-18 season. With Lonzo Ball and Ike Anibogu leaving, both Holiday and Welsh could be in line for a bigger role next season.

Welsh averaged 10.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while Holiday scored 12.3 points while dishing out 4.4 assists per game last season.
