Atkins had a solid freshman season, starting 36 games, and toyed with turning pro. However, after going through the draft process, the 19-year-old must not have liked the feedback he got and is returning to school to improve his stock for the 2018 Draft. He will join Allonzo Trier and incoming freshman DeAndre Ayton to make the Wildcats one of the favorites for the National Championship next season.

Atkins averaged 10.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 28.0 minutes per game his freshman season.
