Bennie Boatwright returning to USC for his junior season
Southern California Trojans sophomore forward Bennie Boatwright announced on Twitter that he is returning to school for his junior season.
Boatwright had made himself eligible for the draft but did not hire an agent, preserving his college eligibility. The sophomore dealt with a knee injury last year, limiting him to just 19 games played. He still led the team in scoring and is poised for a big year in the 2017-18 season.
Boatwright averaged 15.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers in 27.6 minutes per game his sophomore season.
