La Salle Explorers junior forward B.J. Johnson has withdrawn from the 2017 NBA Draft and will return to school for his senior season, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Johnson was projected to be a late-second round pick at best, prompting a return to school to help improve his draft stock. A former Syracuse Orange transfer, Johnson had a breakout season for the Explorers, leading them in scoring and rebounding.
Johnson averaged 17.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game last season.
