Former Virginia Cavaliers forward Marial Shayok will transfer to the Iowa State Cyclones, per Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Shayok will have to sit out one season before being eligible to finish his college career with the Cyclones starting in the Fall of 2018. He started 14 games for the Cavaliers last season but saw his minutes dwindle as the season wrapped up.
Shayok averaged 8.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 20.6 minutes per game last season.
